Quartzites originate from the metamorphism of sandstones, resulting in much more compact rocks that retain visible banding formed under pressure. Unlike slate, their erosion is not laminar but stepped, breaking along joints. The parcel for this micro-vinification lies on quartzitic materials from the Precambrian and Ordovician periods.

Traditional fermentation and neutral ageing, with minimal intervention to capture the pure expression of both variety and soil. This wine represents the “air” archetype within our geological study.
Aromas of red flowers, citrus and fresh herbs. The palate is tense, precise and airy, with a clean, mineral finish. A fascinating contrast to slate, showing how soils from the same geological era can produce radically different profiles.
