It comes from a Cariñena vineyard with a long growing cycle, compact clusters, and small berries, cultivated dry-farmed and using traditional methods. Cariñena is a Mediterranean variety deeply rooted in Aragón — also known as Mazuelo, Samsó, or Carignan — that contributes tannins, acidity, and great aging potential. It was combined with Macabeo, a fresh and tense white variety, to create a dialogue between two distinct energies within the same vineyard.

After several years working with this parcel for our main wines, we decided to co-ferment Cariñena and Macabeo — two varieties that are rarely vinified together. Fermentation was carried out with whole clusters and native yeasts in a neutral cask, to preserve the natural expression as much as possible. The wine then spent 3–4 years aging slowly, refining itself and developing a unique identity: precise, intense, and electric.
Aromas of violets, fresh grapefruit, and an elegant smoky touch. On the palate, it’s vibrant, with structure driven by Cariñena and tension contributed by Macabeo. Long, energetic, and surprising, with a finish that sparkles—just like its name.
