Viticulture

Gramona and Frontonio share a biodynamic approach to viticulture that sees the vineyard as a living ecosystem and seeks to strengthen its natural balance. At Gramona, this philosophy is expressed through the Mediterranean landscape of Penedès, working with soils, cover crops and biodiversity to preserve the identity of each vineyard. At Frontonio, biodynamics is adapted to dry-farmed, old-vine mountain viticulture, where altitude, diverse soils and extreme conditions shape the character of Garnacha and Macabeo.

Winemaking

A pét-nat born from the meeting of Gramona’s Malvasía de Sitges and Frontonio’s Macabeo aged under flor. The Mediterranean and the mountains come together in a lively sparkling wine, where the aromatic expression of Malvasía meets the tension and saline character of Macabeo. Two terroirs, two varieties and two ways of understanding wine, united in a free and collaborative creation.

Tasting note

Fresh and expressive on the nose, with white flowers, citrus, stone fruit and subtle notes of yeast and almond. Fine, lively bubbles on the palate, with tension, texture and a distinctive saline character. Dry, long and slightly umami finish, where the perfume of Malvasía meets the flor character of Macabeo.
