Los Botijos
El Botijo is a limited-production
micro-wine made in a garage in Valdejalón
(North-Eastern Spain), where Fernando Mora,
Francisco Latasa, and Mario López make wine
inconspicuously. The name comes from
the old earthenware pot that is used
to cool water, a vessel adapted to Spain’s
hot and dry climate and that is still
used by wine-growers to slake their
thirst in vineyards.
